At Kent’s Egg Art, we’re dedicated to creating unique, hand-painted Pysanky eggs. Our mission is to bring the beauty of this traditional art form into homes everywhere, while growing our community around this enchanting craft.

Hawaii artist Kent West creates one-of-a-kind artwork which perpetuates the ancient Ukranian folkart tradition of “Pysanky” on nature’s most basic and sculptural canvases, the egg.

Originally practiced in the Ukraine, and handed down for generations, Pysanky involves the meticulous dying of eggs with symbolic patterns and colors. And while Kent enjoys continuing the colorful complex Ukrainian designs, he continues to hone his craft by developing contemporary custom patterns tailored to his clients’ tastes and lifestyles.

No two eggs are ever exactly the same. Each custom made egg is a unique and treasured keepsake that will last indefinitely and serve as heartfelt token of affection. They brighten any room, insist on being noticed, and love to be talked about.
